Lorri at Dight Street by Milieu, Collingwood

Lorri's first Milieu purchase was an exercise in downsizing to an inner city sanctuary whilst still remaining connected to the vibrant community of Collingwood. An eclectic collection of artwork and furniture pieces comfortably fill the interior with a healthy dose of plants softening the edges of the muted interior.

Situated south of Johnston and east of Wellington, Lorri's dual-aspect apartment is underpinned by Japanese design-based principles.

Composed of a restrained material palette, the interiors have been designed to evoke a
sense of warmth and serenity, the perfect backdrop to Lorri's collection of new and vintage furniture pieces. Cork flooring and exposed edge joinery sit alongside brass fittings, taking their cues from the external architecture. This robust palette is softened throughout by Lorri's abundant collection of established plants that drape and climb the extents of the interior footprint.
