Breathe Architecture is a socially responsible design studio spearheaded by Jeremy McLeod, based in Brunswick. Committed to championing the environment, the practice takes a strong stance on sustainability with low impact, smart and common sense design. Milieu is extremely excited to be working with the team at Breathe on an upcoming project in Brunswick.
Edition Office is an architectural studio established in 2016 by Aaron Roberts and Kim Bridgland, both formerly of Room 11 Melbourne. Their work is an exploration of dissonant and sympathetic relationships with the landscape, the site, their clients and most importantly, themselves. Milieu is looking forward to working with the guys on a new Fitzroy project, taking place mid-2018.
Fieldwork is a young and dynamic practice driven by the design ethos to improve the status quo. Directors of the practice publish the progressive online publication Assemble Papers, which explores contemporary issues in architecture. Milieu is working with Fieldwork on the new project Nth Fitzroy By Milieu and two upcoming projects in Collingwood and Brunswick.

Buxton Group has been operating for nearly 50 years in Melbourne. They are a family owned property development group whose vision for any development is "to create a functional and habitable living space for the residents that inherit the final product". Milieu has developed a long term relationship with Buxton Group, partnering together on Barry Street, Breese Street and Bedford By Milieu.

Key to this experienced architecture and urban design practice is the desire to create dynamic and sustainable outdoor environments. MALA Studio designed Nth Fitzroy’s public, communal and private open spaces, and they are currently working with Milieu on Barry Street, Brunswick.
Tom and Captain is a pet friendly business built around urban adventures for dogs. Each day, Tom (human), Captain (dog) and the team give their clients the opportunity to get out and about across Melbourne. Tom and Captain is currently working with Milieu on a series of walking tours to take place in the second half of 2016.
Tom Blachford is a Melbourne-based photographer specialising in interiors, architecture and travel. He photographed the Moor Street, Fitzroy townhouses throughout construction. Milieu is working with Tom across multiple projects, including Melbourne Milieu Issue 1.
Dan Hocking is a multi-disciplinary creative. Based in Melbourne, he specialises in architectural and form-based photography and product design. Milieu is working with Dan across multiple projects including Melbourne Milieu Issue 2.
Coco & Maximilian is a Melbourne-based video production company working across a range of video forms. Whether design and architecture, music or product videos, they create detailed narratives that are at once playful and considered. Milieu is working with Coco & Maximilian across multiple projects including Peel By Milieu.
Tristian Koenig is a local gallery exhibiting emerging contemporary Australian and international artists. While the focus is on painting, Tristian also consults by sourcing, procuring and deaccessioning work for client collections. Tristian is currently working with Milieu on Dight Street.
Morgan Hickinbotham is a Melbourne-based photographer, sound engineer and artist. With a strong focus on architecture and fashion, he provides a unique and individual approach for each project. Milieu have worked with Morgan documenting project construction updates for Milieu Built, as well sound design for the recent Nth FITZROY By MILIEU campaign.
Loose Leaf is a collaboration between florists, designers and business partners Wona Bae and Charlie Lawler. Loose Leaf advises upon and is providing the indoor plants that will improve the natural aesthetics of Milieu's projects. Milieu is working with Loose Leaf across multiple projects including the Milieu Plant Guide.
Iconic retailers of twentieth century vintage design, Angelucci 20th Century hold a diverse range of beautifully restored furniture, lighting and decorative objects. Their work is driven by the belief that historic pieces have a place in modern interiors. Milieu worked with Angelucci on Peel By Milieu.
Jardan design and make furniture that reflects the Australian lifestyle. Jardan have collaborated with Milieu on various projects, including Waterloo Street and Whitlam Place, giving purchasers the opportunity to select furniture, lighting and homewares individually specified for their homes. Milieu is working with Jardan on Peel By Milieu.
Established in Tokyo in 2002, this independent bicycle company offers sleek and minimalist bicycles that are light and comfortable to ride. This Collingwood outfit provides refined cycling products made locally and overseas. Tokyobike collaborated with Milieu on the cycling needs of residents in Peel and Nth FITZROY.
Purveyors of honest and original design, Hub Furniture are committed to sourcing a distinct range of international designs exclusive to Australia. Milieu is very excited to be partnering with Hub, a family company established in Melbourne on Campbell Street in Collingwood.

Architects Without Frontiers’ mission is to improve the social and economic capacity of vulnerable communities through the design and construction of health and education projects in Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Architects Without Frontiers (AWF) works in an interdisciplinary and collaborative way with local partners to deliver design solutions that address long-term community needs.
