"...there's a lovely rooftop garden which is a place where you can bump into your neighbours, and we've become a real little community, which feels so nice. I absolutely love it here, and I'm so happy I upgraded."
Relocating from her one bedroom Dight Street apartment, Lorri made the decision to upgrade her life and her view of the world —all the way up to the fifth floor, with framed views of the Dandenongs and the City; "It's like the sky becomes part of a living, moving artwork. I felt like I could spread my arms out here."
The extra space now affords Lorri the luxury of a home office and a sofa bed for visiting family.
Breese Street has attracted a community of like-minded individuals who have roaming dinner parties through the development, enjoy socialising together on the communal rooftop and catch up whilst hanging their washing on the communal clotheslines. This community has been formulated and encouraged through the design of Breese Street, and the residents like Lorri make it so rich and diverse.
